Porridge with Nut Butter and Raspberries

breakfastI’ve probably been living under a rock the last year or two, but I’ve just discovered Almond Nut Butter and I’m completely obsessed. It’s essentially a healthier version of peanut butter, but instead of seeing the list of alarming E numbers, salt and sugar, usually associated with nutty spread, Nut Butter (I use Meridians) shows only ‘100% Roasted Almonds’ in the ingredients. Consequently I’ve taken to eating it by the bucket load. Try it on your porridge with a handful of frozen raspberries and you’ll be hooked. It’s not only absolutely delicious but it’s mighty fibrous and will keep hunger well and truly locked up ’till lunch.
